Terms of Service

Please read before you order.

Effective October 15, 2026

These terms apply when you use nannuskitchen.com or order food from Nannu's Kitchen LLC ("Nannu's Kitchen", "we", "us"). By placing an order you agree to them.

1. Who we are

We are a delivery and catering kitchen in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. We have no dine-in or pickup counter. Our food is prepared at Electric Avenue Kitchen, a licensed shared commercial kitchen, under our Allegheny County Health Department Shared Kitchen User permit FSP-SKU-26-068, issued to Nannu's Kitchen LLC (facility: Nannu's Kitchen @ Electric Ave Kitchen). Our kitchen manager is ServSafe Food Protection Manager certified. You must be 18 or older to order or create an account.

2. Ordering, prices and tax

2a. Unfinished orders and chat apps

An order is only confirmed after payment is completed on Square. Starting an order does not reserve food or a delivery slot. If you give us your email we may send up to two reminder emails (one a day, for two days) to finish. If you order through a chat app (like ChatGPT), you are responsible for checking the order it prepares before you pay, and these Terms and our Privacy Policy apply as if you had ordered on our website.

3. Delivery

Delivery. Delivery is free in every area we serve, and you can order a single meal. Customers within 4 miles of central Monroeville can also choose any evening, Monday to Saturday; the order page checks your street address. Offers can change, and the price shown when you pay is what applies.

Temperature and handling. Depending on the item, meals may be delivered hot or chilled. Hot meals: eat promptly, or refrigerate within 2 hours of delivery (1 hour if it is above 90°F). Chilled meals: keep refrigerated at 40°F or colder and reheat until steaming hot all the way through (165°F). We are not responsible for food left unrefrigerated after delivery.

4. Changes, cancellations and refunds

5. Allergies and dietary needs

Allergen notice

Any of our dishes may contain, or come into contact with, any of the 9 major food allergens:

๐Ÿฅ› Milk๐Ÿฅš Eggs๐ŸŸ Fish๐Ÿฆ Shellfish๐ŸŒฐ Tree nuts๐Ÿฅœ Peanuts๐ŸŒพ Wheat (gluten)๐Ÿซ˜ SoySesame

Our recipes use these allergens, and we cook in a shared commercial kitchen used by other food businesses, so any dish may contain or come into contact with any of them. We cannot guarantee that any dish is free of an allergen. Allergen details are printed on every container label. If you or anyone you feed has a food allergy, please call 412-660-9474 before you order. Full allergy notice

We do not collect allergy information when you order, and we cannot guarantee that any dish is free from any allergen or from cross-contact. You are responsible for deciding whether our food is safe for you and the people you feed. See our full Allergy notice.

Halal. Our chicken and mutton (goat) are halal certified, and those dishes carry a HALAL sticker on our menu. We cook in a shared commercial kitchen where vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, and other businesses' food, are prepared. If you have questions about the certification or strict halal requirements, please call 412-660-9474 before you order. Halal describes the meat only and is not an allergen statement.

Spice levels are our best attempt to match the description you choose. Everyone's tolerance is different, and we cannot refund a dish only because it was hotter or milder than you expected.

6. Food safety

Once food is delivered, it is your responsibility to store and reheat it safely. Please follow our food safety guidance. We are not responsible for illness caused by food that was stored, handled or reheated improperly after delivery.

7. Payments

Payments are processed securely by Square, Inc. We never see or store your full card number. Square's own terms and privacy policy apply to the payment page.

7a. Rewards points

Signed-in customers earn 1 point for every $1 of food (not tax, tips or delivery) on orders paid from their Nannu Wallet. Orders paid by card or bank on or after November 23, 2026 do not earn points; points from earlier orders stay. 150 points can be used for one free $15.99 meal. Points have no cash value and cannot be transferred. Points expire 1 year after they are earned if they are not used; your oldest points are always used first. Points from canceled or refunded orders are removed. We may remove points that were earned by misuse. Points are a free promotional benefit, not a gift card or stored value. We may change or end the rewards program with at least 30 days' notice on this page; you will have that time to use your points.

Welcome and referral points. New accounts get 25 welcome points. When a friend joins through your referral link and their first order (2 meals or more) is delivered, you each get 50 points. One welcome bonus per person and household; we may refuse referral points that look like duplicate or self-referrals.

7b. Promo codes

Promo codes are entered at checkout, one code per order. WELCOME10 gives 10% off a signed-in customer's first order. WEEKLY5 gives $5 off orders of 5 or more meals. One per household: first-order offers (like WELCOME10), welcome points and referral points are limited to one per person, phone number and delivery address, even across different accounts. If a phone number or address has already ordered with us, these offers do not apply, and referral points are not given when the friend's phone or address matches the referrer's or an existing customer's. If we can't check this at checkout, the order goes ahead without the discount; call us and we'll fix it if you qualify. Codes have no cash value, cannot be combined or used on orders paid from a Nannu Wallet, and may be changed or ended at any time; a code already applied to a paid order stays honored. WELCOME10 can be used once per person and household and is always available to new customers, with no end date.

7c. Nannu Wallet, Meal Pass and gift cards

Nannu Wallet. A signed-in customer's wallet holds money for Nannu's Kitchen meals. It can only be used on nannuskitchen.com orders (food, sides, add-ons, sales tax and an optional tip). It is never charged automatically and is not a subscription.

Meal Pass. Buying a Meal Pass adds the amount you pay to your wallet, plus bonus money ($10 on the 10-meal pass, $20 on the 20-meal pass). Bonus money is used first and expires 60 days after it is added. The money you paid never expires. If you ask, we pay back the money you paid that you have not used, to the card or bank account you paid with; bonus money is not paid back. When we pay money back, it is taken out of your wallet together with the same share of that pass's bonus money, and a full refund also ends the pass perks below. Meal Pass perks, while you have bought a pass in the last 90 days: (1) order up to 3 meals per order of a dish that is not on that day's menu, for the next day or later, and order for the next day until 2:00 AM Eastern (instead of 11 PM); (2) the first 25 customers who buy a pass keep the meal prices of the day they bought it for 12 months; (3) when a friend who signed up with your referral link buys their first Meal Pass, you each get $10 bonus money (up to 10 friends; same household and self-referral rules as referral points). Card payments are confirmed by Square at once; bank payments can take a few business days, and the money appears in your wallet only once your bank has paid. If a bank payment fails, nothing is added.

Gift cards. Gift cards are sold from $15 to $500, are sold by Nannu's Kitchen LLC, never expire and have no fees. The person who receives one adds it to their own wallet with its code; once added, it can't be moved to another wallet. Gift card money is not paid out as cash, except where the law requires it. Keep the code safe: anyone with the code can add the card to their wallet. We can cancel a card that has not been added yet if it was bought by mistake (we refund the buyer). If a card is refunded after it was added, that money is taken back out of the wallet it was added to. We may also give free promotional gift cards; they work the same way.

Refunds and canceled orders. When an order paid from your wallet is canceled or refunded, the money goes back into your wallet right away (bonus money that has expired in the meantime gets 14 more days). Sales tax is charged on each meal when you order it, not when you buy a Meal Pass or gift card. If you delete your account, please use or ask us to pay back your wallet money first. We may correct mistakes in a wallet and close wallets that were misused.

Weekly Tiffin. Weekly Tiffin is an optional setting in your account. You choose your delivery days, time, address, how many meals (2 to 6 per delivery) and your tastes, and we pick the dishes for you from that day's menu. About two days before each delivery we email you what we picked; you can swap a dish, pick again or skip that day in your account until 11 PM Eastern the night before. At 11 PM the order is placed and paid from your Nannu Wallet at the normal prices with sales tax (no tip is added). Nothing is ever charged to your card or bank: if your wallet does not have enough money, that day is skipped, Weekly Tiffin pauses and we email you. You can switch it off at any time; days already placed follow the normal cancellation rules in section 4.

7d. Reviews

Reviews are always optional. We never give points, discounts, free food or anything else for a review, and we never ask for only good reviews. We post genuine reviews from real customers, good and bad. We only hide reviews that contain rude or hateful words, personal details, content not about our food or service, photos of people or non-food, or spam.

7e. Order text messages

If you tick "Text me order updates" when you order, you agree that Nannu's Kitchen LLC may send automated texts to that number about that order. Texting is optional and not a condition of purchase (confirmed, cooking, on the way; about 3 texts per order). No marketing texts. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. If you text our number (888) 601-2359, our automated computer helper replies to your messages only (no marketing). Its answers are for help only and may be wrong; prices and orders on the order page and payment page are what count. See our Privacy Policy.

8. Catering

Catering prices, menus and delivery are arranged by phone only. Please call 412-660-9474. To book an event we take a non-refundable deposit (usually half of the price), paid by a secure Square payment link or in cash. The deposit holds your date and pays for the food we buy for your event, so it is not refunded if you cancel the event or reduce the guest count. If we cancel, or cannot cater because of something outside your control and ours, we refund your deposit in full. We confirm the date, menu, price, deposit and balance to you in writing (text or email) before you pay. The rest of the bill is paid before the event or in cash at delivery, as agreed on the phone.

9. Using this website

Please use the website only for lawful purposes. Do not try to disrupt it, test its security, or place false orders. Our chat helper, Choco, is an automated computer helper (not a person) and can make mistakes. Choco can cancel orders and give the refunds described in section 4 for you; anything else goes to a person. For allergies, prices or anything important, please confirm with us by phone. All content, logos and photos on this site belong to Nannu's Kitchen LLC and may not be copied without our permission.

10. Our responsibility

We work hard to deliver safe, tasty food. To the fullest extent allowed by law, our food and website are provided "as is", and our total responsibility for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. This limit does not apply to personal injury or illness caused by our negligence, to our willful misconduct, or to any right you have under Pennsylvania or federal law that cannot be limited.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Any dispute will be handled in the courts located in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, after we have first tried in good faith to resolve it by talking with you. Either of us may also use small claims (magisterial district) court for claims within its limits.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. The version posted on this page when you order is the one that applies to that order.

13. Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to order. If anything on this site is hard to use with a screen reader, keyboard or other tool, call or text 412-660-9474 or email choco@nannuskitchen.com and we will help you order and fix the problem.

14. Other

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. These terms, with our Privacy Policy and Allergy notice, are the whole agreement between you and Nannu's Kitchen LLC about your order.
